Automotive locksmith and car key replacement

Locked out, lost every key, or need a spare? We cut and program car keys and fobs where your vehicle is parked anywhere in Lincolnton and Lincoln County, or at our shop.

What we handle

Cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans from domestic and Asian manufacturers.

Vehicle lockouts
Professional entry tools that open the door without damaging the glass, paint, or lock.
All keys lost
We make a new key from the vehicle itself when no working key is left.
Spare and duplicate keys
Add a second key before you lose the only one. It costs far less than an all-keys-lost call.
Transponder and chip keys
Chip keys cut and programmed to your vehicle's immobilizer so the engine will start.
Key fob and push-to-start programming
Smart keys, proximity fobs, and push-to-start keys programmed to your vehicle.
Remote head keys and keyless entry remotes
All-in-one remote head keys and compatible keyless entry remotes, cut and programmed.
Automotive key cutting
Standard and high-security (laser-cut) car keys cut to code or copied from a working key.
Broken key extraction
Key snapped off in the door or ignition? We remove the piece and cut a replacement.
Ignition and door lock repair
Worn or damaged ignition and door locks repaired or replaced.
Lock cylinder rekeying
Ignition and door cylinders rekeyed so a lost or stolen key no longer works the vehicle.

Dealer-level programming without the dealer

Allied Mobile is registered with NASTF, the National Automotive Service Task Force. That gives us access to the same security information dealers use, so we can program keys and fobs on vehicles through the 2026 model year, usually for less than the dealer charges and without towing your car anywhere.

Vehicles we work on

We service compatible domestic and Asian vehicles. Call with the year, make, and model and we'll confirm yours. We don't offer locksmith service on European vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, or Volvo.

How a car key job works

  1. Call or send a request

Tell us the year, make, and model, and where the vehicle is. The VIN helps if you have it.

  2. Get a price

We confirm we can make the key and give you the total, including any service-call fee, before we head out.

  3. We come to you

Driveway, parking lot, or roadside. Or bring the vehicle to the shop during shop hours.

  4. Cut, program, test

We test the new key in the door and ignition, and every remote button, before we leave.

Can you do my car?

It depends on the year, make, model, and security system. Call with the details and we'll tell you up front whether we can do it and what it costs, before you commit to anything.

What to have ready

Photo ID and proof that the vehicle is yours, such as the registration or title. We verify ownership before we open a vehicle or make a key for it. It's the law, and it protects you.

Common questions

How much does a replacement car key cost?

It depends on the vehicle. A plain metal key costs much less than a programmed smart key. Once we know the year, make, and model, we give you a firm price over the phone.

Do I need to tow my car to the dealer?

Usually not. We're registered with NASTF, the National Automotive Service Task Force and program keys and fobs at dealer level on compatible vehicles through the 2026 model year, right where the car is parked.

Do you work on European cars?

No. We don't offer locksmith service on European vehicles such as BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, or Volvo. We work on compatible domestic and Asian vehicles.

Can you make a key if I lost every key?

In most cases, yes. We can make a key from the vehicle itself. Call with the year, make, and model and we'll confirm.

Can you program a fob I bought online?

Sometimes. Many aftermarket fobs work, but some can't be programmed or don't last. Send us the part number before you buy, and we'll tell you whether it will work.
